General Information

If you lived in a rental property and lost your home, there is a list of area rental properties at www.tnhousingsearch.org. Bradley County officials are updating this site with currently available housing in the local area.

Financial donations should be sent to: Salvation Army:  PO Box 5325, Cleveland TN, 37320. Salvation Army also accepting donations through text message.  Text ‘Cleveland’ to 85944 and a $10 donation will automatically be added to your next phone bill.

Red Cross:  PO Box 2314, Cleveland TN, 37320. Red Cross also accepting donations online.  Donors should go to www.redcross.org and click on ‘Donate Now to Your Local Chapter’.  This will ensure their donations stay dedicated for Bradley County needs.

Free Tetanus Shots at the Bradley County Health Department. Scheduled your shot by calling 728-7020.

Brush Only may be taken to Tri-State Exhibition Center at No Charge

Total CND (Construction & Demolition) $20.00 a ton at the Landfill

Mixed Garbage & Debris  $25.00 a ton at the Landfill (This is a 30% reduction in the posted gate rate)

 
Relief Information/Closings
 

FEMA - residents and business owners who sustained losses in Bradley and Hamilton Counties can begin applying for assistance by registering online at http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov or by calling 1-800-621-FEMA(3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired. The toll-free telephone numbers will operate from 8am to 6pm (local time) Monday-Saturday (closed Sunday) until further notice.

The local FEMA office is located at the corner of Church and Inman in downtown Cleveland.

The Cleveland/Bradley County Emergency Management Agency has formed an “Unmet Needs Committee” that will be working to assess the community needs and then deciding the most effective way to meet these needs. If you are aware of an unmet need in our community, please call the “Unmet Needs Hotline” at 423-464-1849 between 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday.

The Mayors’ Coalition has established a Cleveland/Bradley County Disaster Relief Fund. The funds web site can accept electronic donations through PayPal. You can visit www.bradleydisasterrelief.org or call 423-716-1844 for more information.

The Disaster Relief Distribution Center on Barney Lane is currently in need of industrial size fans to cool the warehouse. Also, supplies, such as pots and pans, linens, towels and insect repellent are also needed.  If you can help with this need the center can be contacted by calling 478-0013. The center is open Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm. For general information on the resources and volunteer opportunities available,  visit www.clevelandbradleycan.com.

The Salvation Army is still coordinating all volunteer teams in Bradley County.  They will match volunteers to specific locations and groups needing assistance.  Any individual or group looking to volunteer should contact them at 308-3467.

The Bradley Baptist Association continues to dispatch and coordinate all clearing & cleanup crews in Bradley County.  They can be contacted at 476-5493.
